Appliance Repair Trainee

Full-time Greater Boston $20-$25/hr to start, path to $30-$40/hr full-tech pay

Pay: $20-$25/hr to startPath to $30-$40/hr full-tech pay over up to two years
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8a-5p. No on-call, no weekends.
Where: Greater Boston, report to our base each morning

A day on the job

Ride along with a senior technician on real residential service calls
Learn the diagnostic process across refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, and ovens
Handle parts, customer communication, and job notes alongside your tech
Take on simpler jobs independently as your skills develop, typically within 90 days, with remote support from a senior tech

What you'll do

Keep the service van organized and properly stocked
Document every job with clear notes and photos through our dispatch system
Show up on time, ready to learn, and ready to put in the work

What we're looking for

Mechanically inclined, comfortable using hand and power tools
Reliable and punctual, being on time matters in this trade
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Able to lift 50+ lbs and work in tight spaces
Comfortable using a phone/tablet for scheduling and notes
Genuine interest in building a long-term career in the trades

Nice to have

Any hands-on trade background, automotive, HVAC, carpentry, military, etc.
Vocational or technical school coursework
Spanish or Brazilian Portuguese, many customers prefer it
