Appliance Repair Technician — Part-time

Part-time Greater Boston $30–$40/hr DOE

Pay: $30–$40/hrSame pay scale as our full-time techs
Schedule: Flexible schedule within Mon–Fri 8a–5p. Minimum 2 days/week.
Where: Greater Boston — report to our base each morning
We provide: Stocked company van on your scheduled days · Basic tools · Parts · Uniforms

A day on the job

Same residential service work as our full-time techs — refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, microwaves, disposals
Walk customers through findings, repair options, and pricing before starting work
Run your scheduled day out of a stocked company van
Document each job with clear notes and photos

What you'll do

Diagnose and repair major home appliances on-site on your scheduled days
Walk customers through findings, repair options, and pricing before starting work
Coordinate parts and follow-up appointments with dispatch
Document each job with clear notes and photos
Keep your assigned van clean and properly stocked

What we're looking for

3+ years of hands-on appliance repair experience
Available a minimum of 2 days per week (specific days are flexible)
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Able to lift 50+ lbs and work in tight spaces
Comfortable using a phone/tablet for scheduling and invoicing

Nice to have

Sealed-systems skills
EPA 608 certification
Experience with high-end / built-in brands (Sub-Zero, Wolf, Miele, Viking)
